What is the Natural Rearing Breeder Connection?
We are a premier organization comprised of like-minded breeders and animal health professionals dedicated to the principles of rearing our dogs and cats as close to nature as possible.
Why should I join the NRBC?
​Our members have access to education, resources, and a more direct path to potential clients. We provide education and community, as well as connect NR breeders and naturopathic professionals with potential clients. Our intention is to provide the public access to screened professionals and breeders with whom they can connect to acquire assistance in naturally rearing their own animals and/or obtain naturally reared animal companions .​ By instilling confidence in potential buyers and clients through our screening process and strict standards, we aim to bring growth to our members breeding programs and natural animal practices. All members of the NRBC have a proven track record and experience in their respective areas of specialty, as well as credentials that have been verified to ensure the integrity of this organization. We strive to be a leader in bringing reliable, accurate, and factual information regarding natural rearing to the public, and to set the standard for natural rearing by providing a nationwide community of professionals with this approach.
What do you mean by a "naturopathic" or "holistic" approach?
A holistic approach considers the whole animal—mind, body, spirit, and emotions—rather than just focusing on symptoms or diseases. The goal is to achieve optimal health and well-being by addressing the root causes of illness and promoting balance and natural healing.
How do I learn more about this approach?
Follow us on social media! We have created a wonderful resource in our FB Group in the files section and are always sharing educational posts. Animal Naturopaths offer education as well as consultations, so feel free to reach out to any listed on this site to see what they have to offer. Also, most Natural Rearing breeders are only too happy to help others learn about it, just ask!
How can I find a Natural Animal Health Professional in my area?
The NRBC provides an online Referral Network to help you locate a qualified, natural animal healthcare practitioner. There are also online directories for homeopathic and holistic minded veterinarians, but you must still do your part to research each practitioner to verify their specific practices to ensure they align fully with the NRBC Code of Ethics. Also please know, they do not need to be in “your area” or even see your animal in person. Most offer consultations and/or education via phone, Zoom, email, etc.
I offer services for dogs/cats and would like to be listed on your- is this possible?
Absolutely! We have a membership for natural dog trainers, holistic groomers, and dog daycare providers. If you would like to join us and be listed in our Referral Network for only $25.00 a year. Please send us an email at nrbreeder@outlook.com and we will send you an application. If approved, you must maintain a reciprocal link to the NRBC on your website.
